The Challenge
QKD Labs needed a visual identity and interface system that communicated the complexity of quantum cryptography without alienating non-technical enterprise buyers. The existing brand looked like a 2010 SaaS product.

Process
Discovery
We ran a 5-day brand audit and competitive analysis across 18 quantum tech companies. Key finding: everyone used blue and circuit-board imagery. We went the opposite direction.
Strategy
Positioned QKD Labs as the 'Rolls-Royce of cryptography' — premium, restrained, authoritative. The visual language borrowed from Swiss financial design rather than tech startups.
Design
Ink-and-cream palette, Instrument Serif for all display text, custom icon system built around geometric precision. The UI dashboard used progressive disclosure to surface only what enterprise admins needed.
Deliver
Full brand guidelines, Figma component library, Astro marketing site, and a GSAP-animated product demo reel. Handoff included Loom walkthroughs for every token and motion specification.
